I was going through my blog roll this morning and found this post by Jeff Atwood of Coding Horror fame where he linked to an article that Clay Skirky wrote about the woes of the newspaper industry in the internet age. I highly recommend it as it puts things in perspective by comparing end of print to the time when it started with Gutenberg’s invention.
I found out the local newspaper is closing up shop in July.
Amazing how the universe put these two things together for me today...
